Fence panels and gates are constructed from sustainably sourced , FSE certified hardwood to ensure long years of service. For construction of posts MJSofLondon is using air dried Oak, the wood which traditionally has been used for fences in Bedford Park conservation area. Thick layer of tar is applied to concealed areas of wood, which come in contact with ground and concrete, to prevent dampness penetrating wood and causing it to rot. All joints on the fence are made in a traditional way of using mortise and tenon joints and locked with beech wood dowels, combined with cutting edge technology 100% water proof glue.
